Each year the Street of Dreams/City College Program awards 20 fully paid scholarships to students who attend San Diego court and community schools (A court school is part of the public school system and is over seen by the juvinile justice system due to homelessness, teen pregnancy, incarceration, gang violence, language barriers and other severe circumstances).

These students have been referred by their teachers and have been demonstrarted a commitment to their own lives by shower a desire for higher education, the willingness to do whatever it takes, and the grace to help another do the same.
